Sculptures of Haryana

The very most general subjects are like stone and rock in the art department, from the period of Maurya and till the period of Harshavardhana to the empire of British and Mughal. There are sculptures which are invented by the God in the whole world, also Haryana. Within the state Haryana, the sculptures are mostly available in the northern and central region of the Haryana state which is largely a religious place.

For the sculptures, the basic material is stone and rock and also sandstone which are largely used, whether it is available in the colors like gray, green, black and buff. At the place of Kurukshetra in Haryana, founded the Lord Vishnu’s idol which is such a marvelous example of stone carving art, this idol has 4 arms which are very elegantly reclining over the Anantnag, with several faces snake. As per the researcher, this stone piece is may be created in the tenth century. Despite the pictures of the Hindu goddess and god, there are also some pictures of the Jain god Pratihara was also made in the ninth century, these Jain pictures are also founded.
