Historical Importance
Built in 1923, this 137-meter footbridge is an essential way of pedestrian traffic across the Ganga. It is located around 5 Km from the main city. As per some old stories, Lord Ram crossed the river Ganga at this place with the help of Ropes along with his Younger Brother, Lakshman. Later Iron Bridge is constructed by one businessman called Surajmal Jhunjhunwala.
