The one place Haryana was being the one centre of blend for several races, faiths, tribes, cultures and invaders from very ancient period 2500 BC, this period was the only witness for the blend of the various types of paintings. The experimentation of pottery and the designs which are painted on it, in the color of white and black was happened in the district Siswal of the state of Haryana. The paining and the art had very much importance and status in that period when the King Harsha was ruling over Haryana. This king was himself artist of painting and also an appreciator of the variety of arts. When the King Harsha was died, all the paintings came for some time under the rule of King Rajputs. But after very few time it was went into the hands of the Sultanate of Delhi and it was ended. Sultans were not at all interested in the art and they didn’t like the art and painting; Sultans were always keeping themselves in fighting the battles and wars. When the rule of the Mughal Empire started, the art became the ultimate.
That time the Jehangir was a booster of the art; while the time of his rule, the great thing was happened and that was the art of Indian painting style and the art of Persian painting style was blended with each other. In the very ancient period, that times powerful landlords or Jagirdars, were the art’s great booster. In his time, he was so in love with the art that he was always busy with the artisans and art. He used to busy with the painters and artisans to make his houses, walls and ceilings. At his times temples, offer the stage to artisans where they can show their art work like dances, wrestling, landscapes, hunting expeditions, bees, bouts, birds and also love scenes.

Wall paintings are spreader at many places even in the Rang Mahal which is at Pinjore.
The Mahal is decorated by using wall paintings and the originally of these paintings you can observe from the Mughal painters hands. There are two very popular artists for their wall painting art, they are Lala Jamuna Das and Lala Balak Ram of Samadhis, because of their different painting form which is belongs to the mythology of the Hindu. On the both entrances, there are very heavy paintings of the Dwarapalas. The temple which is close to the Samadhi temple called Rajiwala temple, is also fulfilled by the various types of paintings based on the themes of religions. This temple’s different features like cells, walls and also Verandah signifies the art style of Jain. During Qila Mubarak, there are 2 structures of the Mughal, which are decorated by using the art ornaments like flowers and birds.
The one mother Goddess Bhadra Kali temple which is made during the Kurukshetra also has the various religious scenes and those are presence in the whole structure of the temple. Queen Rani Kaur’s haveli and also the Lord Ram Radha’s temple which is at Pehowa too Baba Nath’s temple all this structures have the presence of mural paintings. Like these mural paintings, you will also get to see the similar one in the other temples and also in religious Hindu locations in the whole Haryana.
Mughal paintings are not only in the Mughal palaces but you will also find it in the temples of Hindu religion, like Kalayat, Kaithal and Rohtak. The paintings which are available in the Rohtak temple are now under the Kurukshetra University. The dominance use of green, red, pink, blue and orange color you will largely found in these Mughal paintings.
