Originally it was set up by Assam Oil Company Private Limited and later taken over by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) in the year 1981. War Cemetery
Located at a distance of 1.5 km from Digboi, War Cemetery is among of the best places to visit in Digboi. The location served as an army camp for the Burmese campaign during the Second World War. There are around 200 burials of the British warriors, who lost their lives during World War II braving the attack of Japanese.
